Leadership 360
Leading Australian Business School
Challenge
Surveya were engaged by Australia's leading business school to provide a multi-rater, 360 degree feedback loop for their Executive Education program, assessing 103 participants for leadership development.
Solution
In line with their Leadership competency profile, we developed tailored online surveys in the participant's chosen language and then generated reports in both English & Chinese. We assessed across 12 defined leadership competencies such as boundary spanning, strategic thinking and encouraging innovation. The assessment solution was designed to identify specific gaps in leadership competencies and to generate a targeted individualised performance development plan for each of the participants.
Outcome
Surveya successfully delivered detailed reporting from over 229 feedback providers, incorporating feedback data from direct managers, peers, subordinates and other stakeholders, with complete technical accuracy and no delay. The results were delivered as individualised objective assessments for each of the 103 participants with a tailored report unique to their individual development needs.

Wellness Partnership
Stephenson Mansell Group (SMG)
Challenge
SMG Group's reputation as one of the region's most trusted executive development organisations comes from a distinguished track record of success. While many organisations offer their employees a range of well-considered wellness initiatives, the main challenges remain low engagement and a lack of measurable impact on health, wellbeing and performance.
Solution
Wellness is a topic dominated by opinions that don't always agree. To make sense of this in a practical way SMG has been researching wellness behaviours for over 10 years, reviewing the scientific and neurological data, as well as their own field research. As a result, they discovered 6 areas of sleep, nutrition, activity, social connectedness, outlets and time out, that make up the 6 Cylinders of Wellness. The brief for our partnership with SMG was to take their questionnaire online and to develop reporting for the 6 cylinders of Wellness for it to be embedded in their coaching engagements.
Outcome
The 6 Cylinders of Wellness is now being provided to a broad base of SMG clients across public and private sectors providing meaningful information for employees to focus on their own well-being. Even small improvements in these 6 areas can now be demonstrated to help people to be more relaxed, resilient and confident; mentally sharper with greater focus; and overall, happier and more successful. Aggregate data analysis is also being used to inform and focus decision-making on organizational level initiatives for maximum benefit.

Emerging Leaders Development Program
Government Committee for Development
Challenge
This Government Committee for Development provides an innovative 15 month program for emerging leaders across industries to contribute positively to the future economy, infrastructure, urban densification and liveability of the state - working within diverse Project Teams.
Solution
Surveya was engaged to provide the psychometric assessments for the emerging leaders program to help inform the appointment of the working teams of 6-8 members each. Motivators, strengths and preferences were assessed to optimise the composition of the teams. All participants received a copy of their report and engaged in a 2 hour workshop focused on attributes of authentic leadership and how to optimise group effectiveness.
Outcome
Surveya has worked with this emerging leaders program for the past 4 years involving more than 100 participants, celebrating the many successes and material achievements delivered by the teams.

Embedded Assessment
Leading Career Job Board
Challenge
Surveya was approached to partner with one of the regions leading career and job sites to embed assessments into the screening process for their clients to drive improved data driven decision making into the hiring process.
Solution
We mapped the behavioural preferences assessment for their purpose by job category and integrated it to the job site platform using API's, automating the end to end process.
Outcome
This initiative has added significant value to their client base by increasing the number of successful hires as well as enhancing the candidate experience by providing detailed reporting and recommendations for development.

Team Development
ICONIC Medical Products Co
Challenge
This organisation was seeking to drive improved communications and team interaction amongst a relatively new leadership team that was geographically distributed across Asia-Pacific.
Solution
Surveya assessments were applied in a leadership development program with business leaders from each of the countries in Asia Pacific, who were brought together for a 1 day workshop in Sydney Australia. A key focus was to develop a deeper understanding of each others' strengths and also challenges in their respective countries to drive increased team effectiveness.
Outcome
Using the Behavioural Preferences Insight the group results were graphed and identified key development trends and strengths for the team to build upon. This provided the basis for constructive discussion and development activities. Based on the feedback surveys provided 100% of participants felt significantly more confident to be successful in their role based on the initiative.
